I had the choice to make this letter a few days before my last day at work so it could appear formal, yet I chose not to do it. In reality, I did not really want to make a letter like this. I could have left even without sending them any email, yet I just couldn't. I just have to say what I have to say because I knew in my heart that I will be leaving extraordinary individuals who has touched me in so many ways.

 

This is the email I sent my Headstrong Recruitment family. Funny that I had to make this in just a few minutes since I had to surrender my computer to TSD for clearance.

Subject: I LOVE YOU

...yes, I know the subject does not appear professional but I really wanted to say I LOVE ALL OF YOU and that I will terribly miss you, our work area, the pantry, CRs, just everything Headstrong related.

Thank you for all the memories--kulitan, tawanan, lokohan, iyakan, kainan..all memories. Thanks for the friendship--for always being there to listen, to care, to show your love and concern. Thanks for all the things you taught me--recruitment related and life and love-related. Thank you for being part of my first working experience. It has been fun and challenging.

I am very much privileged to work with each and every one of you. I am so proud that I have once become a part of Headstrong's Recruitment Department and that I was able to work with the best people there are in the industry.

I know I have also hurt some of you somehow, someway and so I AM SO SORRY. May you forgive me for my shortcomings as a friend and as a co-worker. Yes, I confess...I am a slacker at times, but only because work should not be at all times serious. And that is why I just love to be with everyone of you for allowing me to have fun while working.

Special mention to Sir Mon...thank you po ng marami. Naging napakabait niyo po at saludo po ako sa inyo sa inyong pagiging magaling at propesyonal na boss. Salamat po sa pagsalo kung meron kaming mga pagkakamali. Salamat sa pag-intindi at salamat po sa pagbibigay niyo ng saya sa buong Recrutiment. Hinding-hindi ko po kayo makakalimutan.

PS: I am still finishing the original farewell letter. Hindi ko pa matapos.  But I have to go already para makahabol sa dinner for the Team Building. I'll definitely send that to all of you.
